Address: 3 Malden Rd, Cheam

Nonsuch Cottage is a picturesque detached house, built in the 17th century. The attractive door surround and hood may have been added in the 18th century when the house was first weather-boarded. For national celebrations, such as jubilees, patriotic residents decorated cottages like this with window boxes and hanging baskets filled with red, white and blue flowers. This cottage is situated next to Whitehall which is one of the landmark buildings in Cheam.
